wynne evans, our patron

Picture
Born in Carmarthen, Wynne was educated at Pentrepoeth Primary School and Queen Elizabeth Cambria School before going on to study at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and the National Opera Studio. He has performed in the major opera houses of the UK and beyond, he is well-known on radio and TV, and, of course, the face of a large TV advertising company.

Wynne’s father, David, was a patient at Tŷ Cymorth, a place he found both inspiring and comforting. Every day, he would recall his times there. Wynne is, therefore, delighted to be involved with Tŷ Cymorth as Patron and feels a debt of gratitude to the staff and volunteers at this very special place.
