tŷ cymorth hospice


Tŷ Cymorth is a specialist palliative care unit situated on the Glangwili Hospital campus.

After more than 20 years of fundraising by the Tŷ Cymorth (Carmarthen and District) Hospice Appeal, and in partnership with the Hywel Dda University Health Board, the new Tŷ Cymorth was opened in May 2014 by the Welsh Government Minister for Health and Social Services, Professor Mark Drakeford.

Professionals refer patients from places as far afield as Whitland in the west, Newcastle Emlyn in the north and Llandovery in the East.
