a light to lighten the load service

30/11/2020

To replace for this year only ‘Their Light Still Shines’
Monday November 30th at 6.30pm

As a Health Board the Spiritual Care Department along with the TyCymorth Fund Raising Committee host the annual ‘Their Love Still Shines’ Service at the National Botanic Gardens, Llanarthne. This year it was scheduled for Sunday 15th November, 2020

This has been an extraordinary difficult year, we’ve all had to adapt and try to do many things in different ways which has meant that our individual load has been harder to find support and relief from friends and family and as a result it has been challenging and isolating, especially when addressing grief and bereavement.

In Hebrew, to remember means more than simply bringing to mind and we are offering a virtual memorial service in place of the regular service at the National Botanic Garden, because sadly it's not possible to gather together but the hope is that this virtual memorial service filmed in view of the grounds of Ty Cymorth with only healthcare staff present and distanced will bring some solace to those who are grieving, and remind you that you are not alone, that others walk alongside you even from a distance.  The ceremony will offer space and time to remember.

You may like to have a candle to light during our act of remembrance, a small stone to hold and have a photograph of your loved one.  The service with offer multi-faith readings, reflection time and instrumental music.   If you wish to send a message of hope this can be emailed to Loved.Forever.HDD@wales.nhs.uk and the service will be transmitted Live by Microsoft Teams  on Monday November 30th at 6.30pm.  Please use this email if you have any queries.

The URL link is attached and should be copied in its entirety.  It will be made available later for viewing but a message can be sent up to Friday 11th December, 2020
