Three founder members of the Fundraising Committee , Mrs Della Evans, Mrs Mary Griffiths, and Mrs Jean Evans, were the special guests at the Grand Raffle Draw Coffee Evening held at the Ivy Bush Royal Hotel on September 23rd, 2015.
A programme of vocal and instrumental music was given by Ffion, Lowri, Eleri and Rosa, four talented students from Ysgol Bro Myrddin. Our thanks go to them for their contribution to the evening.
Mrs Ann Morgan, Chair of the Fundraising Committee, expressed the thanks of the Trustees and committee members to Mrs Della Evans, Mrs Jean Evans and Mrs Mary Griffiths, and paid tribute to each of them for over 20 years of dedicated service to the Appeal.
At the same event Mr Wynford Churchill presented a cheque to the Treasurer of over £1000, part of the donations received in memory of Mrs Catherine Churchill, a former Chair of the Fundraising Committee of the Ty Cymorth Hospice Appeal. The Trustees and Committee are most grateful to the family of Mrs Catherine Churchill for their generous support and to all those who gave donations in her memory.
