charity line-dancing event

17/6/2017

Picture
On Saturday, June 17, the Celtic Liners livened up the square outside Costa, Carmarthen, with some line-dancing, all in the aid of the TŷCymorth Hospice Appeal. While the group performed to music, members of the Appeal Committee collected money for TŷCymorth. It was a very successful event, not only promoting the work of TŷCymorth, but also making the public aware of the existence of the Celtic Liners, with some members of the public joining in with the dancers. Thanks to Costa, for providing water on a very hot morning.

Further information on TŷCymorth can be obtained on the TŷCymorth website: www.tycymorth.org.uk  and details of the Celtic Liners from pjhowells@live.co.uk

The TŷCymorth Hospice Appeal is grateful for every event organised by members of the public for the benefit of the hospice.

recent donations

1/1/2017

The Tŷ Cymorth Hospice Appeal wishes to thank the community of Carmarthen and District for their continued support.

Groups across the community continue to donate money steadily to the Appeal: church groups, organisations, choirs, bands, individuals partaking in events  such as mini-marathons, sponsored cycle runs and other innovative events. Families have organised their own coffee mornings / barbecues in order to raise money. Thanks to those individuals who donate anonymously, for gifts in memoriam, and for all those who give their time in volunteering work.

Later this year, Tŷ Cymorth hopes to hold an event to which health professionals and the public will be invited. This will be an opportunity to discover how Tŷ Cymorth can help patients and their families through difficult times. Further details will ensue during the coming months.

If you think Tŷ Cymorth can help you or a member of your family, please contact Tŷ Cymorth on 01267 227101.
